21 Days of the Journey (Journey of an Emerging Writer)> Day 13> The Voting Day..

 Hello readers,

Welcome to the day 13 of the journey. It was a pleasant day. Weather did had some mood swings today. Initially it was ideal, then it got hotter around mid-day, was breezy in the evening and started raining around 8PM. The only thing that I don't like about rain at home is that the power cut-off of electricity, it's not like it happens a lot but yeah it's too much silence during the cut-off. Whatever, let's jump on the day's routine: woke up with the same coffee and music routine and did some workout, after that I had breakfast and was ready to see my friend about whom I talked in the last blog. So we had no plan about the day, we just hopped on his scooter and went on to find some spot in the woods where we can sit and spend some time in peace. While we were on the road to the woods, we called another friend of ours who lives nearby and went to his house to meet him. We sat there for a while and talked about some political stuff through which we got to learn a lot of important things. One thing is notable that everyone should be aware of the schemes provided by their respective state government because governments does not promote their schemes unless there's an election nearby. There's one more fact that we discussed today which is regarding the voting procedure. There are a lot of people who were not able to vote because they were not available in their respective constituency or maybe travelling and many other reasons. We had a thought that their must be some alternative of the current voting procedure so that anyone can vote from anywhere irrespective of their constituency. I'm not talking about the Voter Id transfer, but the default procedure of voting must be upgraded to some biometric or online voting. Tomorrow I'll try to write an article on this topic will certainly share the link with you guys. Getting back on the routine, after some discussion over a cup of tea, we went on to the woods and sat there for an hour or more. We saw a huge fire in the jungle which was set on purpose, maybe for the rebirth of new plants or something I'm not aware of but I do know that the road there used to be covered by shade of the trees and today we had to travel for more than half an hour just so we could find a space to sit and relax. So, do not harm the nature guys by any means and the nature will reward you with peace and good air to breathe. After spending some time there, we got back and had some street food. In the evening we went for a walk and talked about what are we planning for our future which I think is necessary. Then I came home and started browsing about election statistics to put in the upcoming article. Around 9:00PM I had dinner and then came here to write. So overall it was a good day, we travelled, we connected with friends, got to learn something and will share what I learned. I'll go and study now and will see you guys tomorrow. Till then, have a great time everyone:)
