21 Days of Blogging (Journey of an Emerging Writer)> Day 16> Sleeping with the problem.....
Hello readers,
Welcome to the day 16 of the journey. It's been five days since I last played football. It's hard to explain how playing football keeps my mind and body feel alive. No worries, I might be playing tomorrow as I asked a few players and they said they'll join me tomorrow. Talking about the day, it started with the same coffee and music routine with a little bit of studying. After completing the morning chores I went to meet my sister and she made me deal with her few bank account related amendments. So I went to a nearby bank and dealt with the given work, it took me almost till lunch time to finish the work. After that I came home for lunch, post lunch did some studying and workout. In the evening I went to a nearby ground for a walk, then came back and made a good cup of coffee for myself and after that I had dinner. One thing which I suppose is that my family saves a pile of work and handle it to me when I come home even for a short period of time. Anyways feels good to be of some help, well who doesn't!
As we were talking about 'being creative' in a previous blog, we discussed about 'keeping our hobbies safe'. Today I'll share another important thing that must be done in order to be more creative. It is called 'sleeping with the problem'. So what does that actually mean? It means that one must not hurry in making decisions. What a creative person does is that he/her listens to a problem and takes some time to think about it, and after that decides what to do. Obviously, I'm not talking about the decisions like 'saving a kid from getting hit by a bus ' or 'saving a drowning person ', etc. I'm talking about decisions like taking responsibility of any work before knowing the outcomes and analyzing what it's gonna demand of you, or giving your opinions on any issue, etc. Those kinds of problems must not be answered immediately. You need to take some time to think and analyze. Cause even when you're too good at it, you can't be as efficient as you'll be after taking some time to think about a particular situation. So bring the situation home if it doesn't comes with a deadline and try sleeping with the problem. Cause when you do that, you won't be forcing your mind to come up with the first solution that seems right but rather it'll analyze the consequences of a particular solution and will provide you the right idea and will certainly help you to be more creative with your thoughts. From now on whenever any of your friends ask you to go out on a trip or ask you to go out to a party or such, don't answer right away, just hold your 'yes I'm in' for a moment and think about the outcomes. You'll certainly get better results. That was just an example guys, it works in almost every field. None of the things I said is an exception, most of you must me practicing it already. It's just a reminder kinda thingy just in case you forgot. I'll go now to sleep with the problem that I already have aka 'the girlfriend' . Kidding obviously, she's my master key to every problem and I love her so much (FYI: she comes here to read). I'll come here again tomorrow guys. Till then, have a great time:)
