21 Days of Blogging (Journey of an Emerging Writer )> Day 8> Uncertain Weather

Hello readers,

Thanks for joining me on day 8 of the journey. It was a good day overall. A lot of happening as I call it. So I'll start right away. I woke up a bit late today as it was Sunday and I had no plans for the day till I had a lot of plans at the same time in the morning. Had a coffee around 10 in the morning and  got a call from my friend who was injured yesterday during a match. He felt lot of pain in his wrist around midnight and called me in the morning to take him to a doctor. So I skipped breakfast and took him to a  doc nearby where we found out that he had a hairline fracture in his wrist, so a plaster was applied around his arm to support his wrist. After that we had burgers as brunch and decided to go and see another friend who got his ankle fractured a day before yesterday. So basically our three friends got fractures playing football recently. Seems like our group has been cursed. haha! of course I don't believe in all that, kidding again, I really do now. What I feel is that negative thoughts have more power than the positive ones. Coming back to the day, we went to the other friend and spent some quality time together at his house. The weather changed throughout the day, it rained in the morning and then got sunny again around mid day. So in the evening we decided to watch a local football match and it started raining again as soon as we reached there. The stadium didn't had stands with shelters so we decided to go to a friend's house nearby and stay there till the rain stops. Had some tea and a lot of talking that really doesn't make any sense. But that's how it should be with friends, not everything has to make sense. Around evening we came back to our respective residences. Then I watched my current favorite football team's match which is Liverpool and we lost to Crystal Palace 1-0, and our dreams to won the Premiere league got shattered again. So I thought I'll watch IPL as my all time favorite team Mumbai Indians was going to face it's all time rivals Chennai Super Kings, watched the match till we lost and again I was disappointed by both of my teams and decided to write all of things in the blog. So the mood and weather walked hand in hand today. Felt good to spent time with friends and on the other hand got betrayed by both the favorite teams but that's all a part of life and sport as we say "Some days good, some days shit". It was one of those days that went without any planning, only random series of events. So I'll post the blog before the next day starts. Hope to see you guys tomorrow again.
