21 Days of Blogging (Journey of an Emerging Writer)> Day 7> Sleeping through the day

 Hello readers,

Thoughts have become more vivid as we entered into day 7 of the journey. The more I came here to write, less it feels hard to think about what to write. All I do is put my fingers on the keyboard and press a few keys and all set. When I started doing so I thought it might be hard to write everyday cause I don't do much in a day or do not travel or work much to talk about . But now it feels like I don't have to move physically as the mind does a lot more travelling than the body. Even on the days with least productivity, mind will always brought up something to talk about.

So I was thinking about something that everybody has that is 'opinions'. As a reader you might have developed one just right now. So where does opinions come from and why can't we stick to one single thought ? The answer isn't simple or maybe it is, that it's all a matter of ideals. Now, one can have an opinion about it and there's no problem with it. Basically, we judge others according to the ideals of our own and each of us can have a different set of ideals. Whenever we see someone doing something we don't like or something we can't do, we instantly develop some opinion about it. Same goes the other way around. People will have opinions about you and what you do according to their own ideals. All we have to do is accept others for their different ideals and eventually they will do the same for you. Not everything is all right and not everything is all wrong. As I read somewhere , "the fire that burns a child, may cook a good meal for a starving man". As we grew up we have a sense of developing our own ideals which may be a combination of several factors such as environment, religion and many more. And one good thing about opinion is that they can change. Does having an opinion is necessary? or is it just some waste of energy? Personally I feel like it's good to have one as it will force you to have a general sense of reasoning and consciousness. Whenever you have some opinion about anyone your mind instantly starts collecting evidences from your memory to prove your point. Believe it or not, mind can be wrong many a times. It just gives you the information you expect from it. The thing that I have learnt is that whenever I develop an opinion about anyone or anything I send a message to my brain that is "I could be wrong". Then my brain look at things a bit differently. It starts to find evidences from my memory that relates the person whom I'm having an opinion about or about the situation I'm dealing with. A feeling of empathy also develops. When that happens I put myself in a state where my mind doesn't battle much to prove myself right and superior. So if until asked or necessary, I can keep my opinion to myself and still be at peace. One can try this trick and see if that really works or not. FYI: guys all I talk here, is a mere collection of thoughts that I have and I just want you to think about the topic in your own way and have a sense of right or wrong according to your own knowledge and experiences. Now, I'll give you the overview of the day.

As the title itself tells about my today's routine. I woke up around 6AM in the morning. As I was told that the match will be started around 7AM, so I was ready around 6:45AM and was left stood up for more than an hour by my friend who was supposed to pick me up and the match started around 8:30AM. That's one way of starting the day. It was a day that felt much hotter than usual and I had a lot of iced drinks after the game. Came back and slept till lunch, had lunch and slept again. Woke up around 7 in the evening and had a coffee. After that I went out for some grocery shopping and then came back for dinner. Post dinner, did some reading and came here to talk my thoughts out. It was a sleepy day and I did enjoyed the resting part. I'll be expecting you guys to come back for day 8. Till then, have a great time everyone:)
